Your program is perfect I should say - but I don't understand why you decided to remove time range in all log's window where today only the DATE filter is using?
I mean when I want to find out which program was using my Internet so hard that more than ....th MB|GB was lost - I want to limit range of time in which I want to start search. For ex.: I want to search all sessions for <TODAY>-<from 12:00 till 16:00> for <ALL> application names.
Foe ex. window 'Traffic statistics' - yep, I can see +- buttons on the left part of this dialog - but they are mostly unusable... It would be MUCH! better to replace them with {probably from scratch developed} 'needed-time-range-picking-up' GUI element. As a variant we can use traffic's graph itself - left click of mouse button on aprox. needed time on graph - hold left button down and move mouse till end of needed time range on this graph {you already developed good tooltips for that graph which shows needed info} - leave left button=> desirable time range was selected - lets use it - button 'show session log' will show to me data already filtered by selected time range....
The same for 'Session Log View' window - I want to apply the same time related filter on output data...
Also - In program settings I can setup Local Network List BUT! it's ridiculous but I cannot use this list as a primary filter on output data.
Let's imagine - I found all progs using current existing methods (even w/o time range filter) - but I've got too big list - and my next logical step should be filter out all local IP. But I cannot do that. Again! I want to filter out! not to sort! result - right now I can do only sort. And that trick would be very! effective in 'Traffic statistic' window if I could quickly find out amount of downloaded|uploaded data from 'ONLY the external IP'.
Also I want to see two different columns in all log window when you show address of remote comp. 'full DNS name' and its 'real IP'. It's much more effective than current approach - right now I have to to click on a special button 'whois' in order to find out IP of some DNS name which is printed in table.
Also WHY I cannot manually set 'whois' server??? I do not know for ex. which server prefer you - but maybe I know more efficient 'whois' server?
In that case I need to set it in general program settings. btw right now i get this: 'Cannot connect to server whois.arin.net'
