A Miracle app, been using it for about 6 months. Amazing to know how open your computer is even with a firewall. After using it for awhile, I started getting more advanced with the rules system. there are a couple of services in the computer that communicate in behalf of many apps, such as SvcHost and a few others. these cannot be blocked totally unless you want your internet to stop dead. NetPeek does a good job, but need a few more options for surgical precision there is the option in Netpeek to dissallow specific ip address's or to deny all activity on all ports. but when it comes to svchost need the ability to block a range of ip address's because many program's try a range of address's/ports on the same ip subnet. there is also a need for netpeek to have an option to say... "allow local ip addresses only. this will eliminate allot of extra rules to just keep blocking all outside ip addresses manually. get's tiring after awhile. One last one, is once netpeek rules are running and later you discover that you have blocked too much. You would expect for it to be able to get a real-time log of the operations it is blocking. and let you click on it to edit that rule quickly. Instead no other way than to just hunt and peck. Just need a running list like peerblocker has.
